Isla Marisol Resort is on Glover’s Reef which is the smallest of three coral Atolls in Belize. Glover's Reef Atoll is located some 35 miles South East of Dangriga Town.
It is made up of about five atoll islands, one of them being the Southwest Caye, home to Isla Marisol Resort. What better way to get there than by a thrilling sight-seeing helicopter the transfer from the Belize International Airport to the resort.
Reef Transfer to Isla Marisol Resort (Blue Route)
Ascend over Belize City and soar along the coastline past Robinson Point then to the edge of the reef, jewel of the sea (second longest barrier reef in the world, approximately 185 miles long). Then you will head south along the barrier reef to Tobacco Caye, soaring high above the barrier reef, with incredible views of cayes on route, you will marvel at the vistas seen only by few! Finally, you will turn east to Glover’s Reef where you will be taken away by the views of the atoll in contrast with the dark deep blue waters surrounding the reef formation.
The helicopter transfer will reduce your arrival time from the Belize City to Isla Marisol Resort by 3 hours. You will then fly over the World Heritage Site, Glover's Reef Marine Reserve, where you will enjoy spectacular reef formations and views for the different cayes in Glovers Reef. You will have a breath taking aerial view of the atoll, the flight continues further along the reef where you can be dazzled by the water view that borders the atoll until arriving to the final destination landing in the middle of Isla Marisol.
